big battle in Imoca, follow the race live

The Transat Jacques Vabre celebrates its seventeenth day of racing, this Tuesday, November 14. And there are only three winners’ places left at stake, as the winning duo in Ultim is already known, Armel Le Cléac’h and Sébastien Josse (Popular sofa) arrived in Martinique last Sunday.

Three more Ultims at sea

However, there are still three Ultims at sea, with a third place up for grabs, most likely for the Maxi Edmond de Rothschild (Charles Caudrelier – Erwan Israel).

Things are still tight in the other categories. In Imoca two different strategies face each other: a group led by Justine Mettraux and Julien Villion (Teamwork.net) goes through the north, while another tries his luck through the south, where we like to find the big favorites Paprec-Arkea (Yoann Richomme – Yann Eliès), For people (Thomas Ruyant – Morgan Lagravière) or Charal (Jérémie Beyou-Franck Cammas).

In Class 40, the competitors are kept in a tight spot, off the African coast Solidarity in the peloton (Thibaut Vauchel-Camus – Quentin Vlamynck) leads by a wide margin in Ocean Fifty.
