Louboutin, Bobbies, Ugg, Jimmy Choo… shoe collaborations are getting creative

From a pair of superhero-inspired over-the-knee boots to construction site ankle boots with oversized soles and blue satin pumps, FashionNetwork.com offers a curated selection of fall’s most original shoe collabs.

Louboutin

Legendary style. To celebrate the centenary of Disney studios, the luxury shoe brand designed by Christian Louboutin signs a capsule shoes inspired by the appearance of the universe’s superheroes Miracle.

On the agenda for this shoe collection for women, men and children: electric blue ankle boots called “Cosmic boot”, black moccasins with rhinestones and even ankle boots with notch. A pair of thigh-high boots decorated with multi-colored gemstones (a nod to the six ‘Infinity Gems’) is the flagship of the collaboration. This sandal, called “Sea Warrior”, which retails for 2,995 euros and is worthy of modern gladiators, features the co-branded logo on the insole. The capsule is already available on the site and in the stores of the two brands, as well as in a selection of points of sale.

Jimmy ChooXJean Paul Gaultier

French fashion house Jean Paul Gaultier, led in style by the eponymous couturier, is teaming up with luxury shoe label Jimmy Choo this fall for a high-flying capsule that gives stiletto heels a prominent place.

All of these pairs with their chiseled design have the names of the two brands written in white on their black lacquered outsole. The London shoe designer’s iconic ‘Bing’ mule model is updated in smooth black leather with chains and a cub made of crystals, like a jewel, while transparent mesh pumps are decorated with multicolored Swarovski crystals. Highlight of the show: dazzling and reversible black leather boots, which when unfolded reveal a denim-like cuff. This capsule – worn by American actress and top model Kylie Minogue in the campaign – can be purchased on the site and in the Jimmy Choo and Jean Paul Gaultier boutiques. Prices vary between 795 euros and 1995 euros.

Bobbies X icon

The label Bobbies, together with the refined lingerie brand Icone, has designed a capsule of highly sensual shoes and ready-to-wear in captivating colors, inspired by evenings spent in the cozy intimacy of boudoirs.

This collaboration combines the heritage of the two Parisian labels and offers handmade pairs in Portugal, such as pumps slingback in brown “ristretto” lambskin, babies with double straps available in iridescent blue Italian satin and patent black, beige ankle boots with seventies and boots with generously compensated soles. In terms of price, the shoes are sold between 175 and 210 euros, and are resold in stores and on the Bobbies brand website.

Ugg

The Californian brand Ugg, together with the unisex luxury brand Telfar, based in New York, has come up with a collection of accessories decorated with “moumoute”, a bit yeti, ideal to gently prepare for the winter season.

In this seventh drop of their collaboration, the two American labels feature richly padded ankle boots, boots and moccasins – iconic Ugg pieces – with white and black Sherpa material. The “Shopper” bag, an iconic item from the Telfar catalog offered here in an ivory bench, in camel and in fluorescent orange, is also decorated with this warm look, designed for extreme cold. The collab, the price of which varies between 160 and 280 euros, has been available since Tuesday, November 7 at Ugg and Telfar points of sale and on their e-shop.

IKKS

The tricolor fashion label IKKS – which this fall launched its long-awaited handbag called “The 1.” – collaborates with the brand Inuikii for a microcapsule with a bohemian feel inspired by arctic landscapes.

The fur-lined boot model “Curly Rock” in suede leather, available in black and camel, is decorated with studs, chevrons or silver stars and is tied with a thick braided cord. The ultimate: the non-slip rubber sole, designed for cobblestones and city center walkways. Both pairs are sold for a price of 365 euros in a select selection of stores and on the IKKS website.

Both X Caterpillar

The Parisian label Both has a collection of two pairs of high ankle boots made of natural rubber signed with the American brand Caterpillar – known for its mustard-colored construction equipment.

The “Gao Pioneer”, a classic ankle boot with laces work clothes and functional appearance, is available in two versions, one in a variation of warm earth tones, the other in black and gray tones. Available in two colors, this pair features a notched sole. too big to tackle bad weather, puddles and mud in style. This microcapsule will be launched worldwide on November 12 at the price of 210 euros on the websites of the two labels.

Bonus point

All Schuss! The three-colored children’s fashion label Bonpoint has teamed up with the MoonBoot brand to create a fun design collaboration for little ones’ feet.

The Bonpoint house returns this winter with the design of the iconic wedge snow boot – MoonBoot’s signature – with a cheerful floral pattern, ideal for hitting the ski slopes in complete safety and trudging through the countryside with its suction cup sole .
